Aesthetics and Life

Aesthetics studies new ways of seeing and of perceiving the world. Aesthetic ethics refers to the idea that human conduct and behaviour ought to be governed by that which is beautiful and attractive. Aesthetics is a dealing with the nature of beauty, art, and taste, and with the creation and appreciation of beauty. It is more scientifically defined as the study of sensory or sensori-emotional values, sometimes called judgments of sentiment and taste. More broadly it can be defined as critical reflection on art, culture and nature. Aesthetics is used by some as a synonym for the philosophy of art.

The unity of aesthetics and ethics is in fact reflected in our understanding of behaviour being "fair" the word having a double meaning of attractive and morally acceptable. Aesthetic ethics might be taken to form a philosophical rationale for peace education.

Aesthetic considerations such as symmetry and simplicity are used in areas of philosoph. Beauty and Truth have been argued to be nearly synonymous. In my point of view nowadays aesthetic body or face is not about looking completely symmetric or looking similar to popular artists. It is looking harmoniously with all your body parts and being natural. For example I do not think Botox therapy is about eliminating all creases and looking different than you originally are… It is a therapy for looking fresh and natural. In Cyprus Aesthetic Center we aim to achieve simple, pure and natural beauty.
